Some of the Taxes You Pay Each Year

And your city council is beginning discussions on an "assessment district tax". This is essentially to tax property owners a flat rate for living in the city or owning property in the city. This is different from the property tax you already pay because it is not based on value it is simply based on a district you live in. These districts and the additional tax assessment you will pay are are yet to be determined.
