The people of the 4th ward deserve a councilman who will provide honest leadership and support the tough measures needed to clean up San Bernardino. We are tired of politicians who say one thing to get elected and then do another once they get in office.

 

People have asked me why I’m doing this? My wife and I love San Bernardino and this is the place we call home. Margie has grown up here and after fire destroyed our home we stayed and rebuilt. Today, I want to answer the call from our community and continue to push for honest and accountable civic leadership at city hall.

 

As our councilman I will put public safety first and insist on strengthening the operational capabilities of our police and fire. This is an A-#1 priority.  I also believe, the best social program is a good job and that's why we will work to bring quality job opportunities to our city - not just any type of business.  This will take real reform and a fundamental change in the way business is done at city hall.  Finally, I will work for tougher penalties and take aggressive action to fight graffiti throughout San Bernardino and demand follow-though.

 

I am making this announcement early so more and more residents can lean about the positive vision we bring to San Bernardino for you. The 4th ward is used to high caliber representation that is active and hands-on.  Residents want honest, accountable leadership which they can count on to keep their promises' and work at city hall on their behalf - not the downtown special interests. That’s what I aim to provide.
