San Bernardino families suffer from violent crime. This week, five people, including two children and a pregnant mother were shot.
Councilman Tobin Brinker ought to be ashamed of his decision to lay off 58 city police officers and close 6 local police stations. His soft on crime decisions put families at risk especially when the state continues it’s early parolee release program. In a city plagued by crime at all levels San Bernardino should have 400 police officers, if not more.
With fewer police patrols to protect our neighborhoods, it’s no wonder burglaries have risen sharply and violent crime is putting young families at risk? This year I’ve had my car broken into twice, while it sat parked in my driveway.
Brinker’s constant attack against our police force undermines morale and makes it more difficult for them to do their job.
Residents can change this. Elect John Valdivia a new City Councilman for the 3rd Ward. Residents can count on him to restore our neighborhood police patrols and put more officers back on the street to fight crime.
Take back your community from the hoodlums by voting for tough on crime leaders like John Valdivia this November. Please visit John-Valdivia.com
